Definition of Verb : A verb is a part of speech that usually denotes action ("bring", "read"), occurrence ("to decompose" (itself), "to glitter"), or a state of being ("exist", "live", "soak", "stand"). Depending on the language, a verb may vary in form according to many factors, possibly including its tense, aspect, mood and voice. It may also agree with the person, gender, and/or number of some of its arguments (what we usually call subject, object, etc.).

Verb is words that show an action :

Ronaldinho kicks the ball
I walk to school
My mom cooks for lunch

Verb explains when action is made :

(a) Present Tense
The present tense is the tense (form of a verb) that is often used to express :
* Action at the present time
* A state of being
* A habitual action
* An occurrence in the near future
* An action that occurred in the past and continues up to the present
Example : eat, sleep, study

(b) Continuous Tense
The continuous and progressive aspects are grammatical aspects that express incomplete action in progress at a specific time. The continuous aspect expresses the state of the subject that is continuing the action while the progressive aspect expresses the dynamic quality of actions that are in progress.
Example : eating, sleeping, studying

(c) Past Tense
The past tense is a verb tense expressing action, activity, state or being in the past.
Example : ate, slept, studied

(d) Future Tense
A future tense is a verb form that marks the event described by a verb as not having happened yet, but expected to in the future.
Example : I shall eat, He will sleep, They will study

(e) Perfect Tense
The perfect tenses are verb tenses showing actions completed at or before a specific time.
Example : has eaten, has slept, has studied

Definition of Noun : A noun, or noun substantive, is a word or phrase that refers to a person, place, thing, event, substance or quality. Nouns are parts of speech and can be classified in different ways such as proper nouns (e.g. "Janet") versus common nouns (e.g. "girl"), or collective nouns (e.g. "bunch", "herd"). Nouns can be substituted by pronouns (e.g. "she" and "which"). The word noun derives from Latin nomen meaning "name" (as a noun can be considered an object, person, or concept's name).

Two important things to remember when using noun :
(a) Is it singular or plural
(b) Is it countable or uncountable

If that noun is delegating only one thing, do not put 's' at the end of that noun.

Example : Dog

Notes : There must be 'a' before noun that delegating only one thing.
a dog (only one dog)

If there is more than one dog, put 's' at the end of that noun.
dogs (more than one dog)

There are some noun that need to be added '-es' or '-ies' at the end of word when they delegating more than one thing.

Example :

glass – glasses
hero – heroes
lorry – lorries
lady – ladies
baby – babies

Definition of Pronoun : A pronoun is a pro-form that substitutes for a noun or noun phrase with or without a determiner, such as you and they in English. The replaced phrase is the antecedent of the pronoun. A pronoun used for the item questioned in a question is called an interrogative pronoun, such as who.

Pronoun Types :

Subject : I, You, He, She, It, We, They
Object : Me, You, Him, Her, It, Us, Them
Possessive : Mine, Yours, His, Hers, Its, Ours, Theirs
Reflexive : Myself, Yourself, Herself, Itself, Ourselves, Themselves

Example :

For I :

I love you.
You love me.
The book is mine.
I like myself.

For We :

We like McDonalds.
Josh Lim likes us.
The book is ours.
We cleaned the room ourselves.

Simple english sentence structure should contains subject and predicate elements.

Subject + Predicate

Example :

The girl sings.
The girl is the subject when sings is the predicate.

I like to eat apples.
I is the subject when like to eat apples is the predicate.

Definition of Subject : The subject of a sentence is sometimes defined as the argument that generally refers to the origin of the action or the undergoer of the state shown by the predicate.

The subject is a noun phrase in the sentence.

Example :

We will go home soon.
My wife and my daughters will be at the airport.

Definition of Predicate : The predicate of a sentence is the part of the sentence that makes the assertion about the subject. The main part of the predicate is a finite verb (which must be present). The predicate can be a verb alone, or a verb and other words related to it. Any part of the sentence which is not a part of the subject is part of the predicate.

The predicate is one word or a bunch of word whose related about Subject. Predicate shall have verb.

Example :

My mother is cooking.
The teacher reads with the children.

A verb is a word that expresses action or state of being.

Verb also can consisted is, are, general, have, love, like, need which is not express action or state of being.

Example :

He is my father.
They are hungry.
I am tired.
